Ya Rabb. When I lose hope, help me to remember that Your love is greater than my disappointments, and Your plans for my life is better than my dreams. —  Unknown

Whether you feel like your faith is a little low, or your emotions are taking a toll on you, here are 5 helpful dua’s for when you’re facing anxiety, stress, and/or sadness. If you’ve been feeling this away for a while, make these dua’s during Ramadan, as the prayers of a fasting person is always answered.

1. للَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزْنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ —- Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-hammi wal-Ḥuzni wal-‘ajazi wal-kasli wal-bukhli wal-jubni wa ḍalaEid-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.

Translation: O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.

Translation: O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshiped except You.
